Individual Lessons at the Saturday Music Centre
As part of our Saturday Music Centre for 7 -18 year olds, we have individual lessons available with our highly skilled Licensed Music Teachers.

Whether you are a complete beginner or want to start again where you left off, we have the following lesson opportunities available.

Viola, Violin, Cello, Guitar, Bass Guitar, Ukulele, Flute, Trumpet, Trombone, Euphonium, Piano, Drums and Voice.

Catherine Ince
cello, violin and voice
Catherine teaches cello, violin and voice.
After studying at Bangor University, where she gained her Music Degree in 2013 followed by a Master’s Degree in 2014, she moved down to Kent. In 2015 she became one of our Licensed Music Teachers and joined the Music Centre team in 2016.

Graham Mann
drums/percussion, trombone, trumpet, euphonium and piano
Graham has been a teacher of drums and percussion, piano and brass since 1993. He also conducts Orchestras, Wind Bands, Percussion Ensembles and plays professionally for several rock/pop bands. His acquired experience over the years from both teaching and playing enables him to tailor lessons to each pupil's needs and to give them the knowledge and know-how to reach and exceed their musical expectations.
Harriette Piesley
viola, violin and piano
Harriette studied for her at Bachelors Trinity Laban Conservatoire. She has performed with many orchestras as a soloist as well as an orchestral musician. She regularly does Session and Freelance recordings for different bands from a variety of genres and performs with a Folk Metal band. Harriette teaches Violin and Piano and is starting her Master’s Degree as a Music Therapist at Roehampton University in September.
Melanie Kyle
violin and flute
Mel has been involved with MMA wider opportunities and the Saturday Music Centre since 2008. Mel is a performance graduate from the Birmingham Conservatoire and was awarded a scholarship to study at the Kodály Institute in Hungary.
Ben Fox
Drums, Guitar, Bass Guitar and Ukulele
Ben graduated from the University of Kent in 2023 with a first class honours degree in music performance. Ben has been playing drums as a performer and freelance session musician across the UK and Europe with a number of different bands. As a freelance session musician and performer, Ben has gained a lot of experience playing different styles of music ranging from Jazz, Latin, and Afro-Peruvian music to Rock, Pop, Reggae and a many other styles.
